Goal:

The goal of the Project 23 Walkathon is to raise $30,000 in donations for Tradewater.

Date and Location:

The walkathon will be on January 28th, 2023.

The walkathon will take place at Wilcox High School’s track at 3250 Monroe St, Santa Clara, CA 95051.

All walkers must check in at the registration tent to receive their lap card and sign a waiver before they start walking. The opening ceremony will begin at 11:00 am and the walk will begin immediately after. Late arrivals are welcome to join the course at any time. The event ends at 2:00 pm.

Food and Dress:

It is recommended that walkers wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes.

There will be snacks, light food items, and Gatorade available for purchase at an on-site snack shack. Water will also be available to walkers at a central drink station for free. Walkers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle to fill up at the drink station; compostable paper cups will be provided.

Booths:

Participants can visit booths on the football field to learn more about global warming and Project 23. Look forward to seeing a booth on Tradewater, the Santa Clara Schools Foundation, the Wilcox Business Experience, and more!

Registration and Donations:

Visit our Walkathon page to learn more about how to register and collect donations for the event.
